Sanpete School of the Performing Arts ("SSPA," "we," "us," or "our") is a performing arts school based in Spring City, Utah, offering instruction in dance, theatre, vocal arts, and choir. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from students, parents, guardians, and visitors to our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using our website, enrolling in a class, or opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to run our programs and communicate with the families we serve.

Information you give us directly. When you contact us, request information, or enroll a student, we may collect:

• Name of the parent, guardian, or adult student
• Student name and age or grade level
• Email address
• Mobile or home telephone number
• Mailing address, where required for enrollment or billing
• Program or class interests, scheduling preferences, and any notes you choose to share with us
• Emergency contact details and any health or accessibility information you provide so we can keep students safe in class

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. See section 06 for details.

Payment information. Tuition and registration payments are processed through our third-party registration provider. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to enrollment questions and requests for information
• Register students and administer classes, rehearsals, and performances
• Send class schedules, schedule changes, closures, and rehearsal or performance reminders
• Process tuition, registration fees, and related billing communications
• Contact a parent or guardian in the event of an emergency involving a student
• Share school news, upcoming seasons, and occasional promotional offers with those who have asked to receive them
• Improve our website, our programs, and the experience of the families we serve
• Comply with our legal and record-keeping obligations

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you provide your mobile telephone number and give your express written consent, Sanpete School of the Performing Arts may send you text messages about class schedules, rehearsal and performance reminders, enrollment and tuition notices, and — where you have separately consented — promotional offers and school news.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of enrollment or of purchasing any product or service from us. You may decline SMS messages and still enroll, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

Your mobile telephone number, and your consent to be contacted at that number, are never sold, rented, or traded.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share information only in the limited circumstances described below:

• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the school — for example our class registration and payment platform, our email and messaging provider, and our website host. These providers may access personal information only to perform services on our behalf, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
• Faculty and staff. Instructors receive the student and emergency contact information they need to teach their classes safely.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a student, our staff, or the public.

As stated in section 04, mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent are excluded from any sharing for marketing or promotional purposes.

Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site working properly, and understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve them.

Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of our website function. Where your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we do not track you across third-party websites.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information entrusted to us, and we limit access to staff and providers who need it to do their work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our programs and to meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Children's Privacy

We teach students of all ages, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 online. Enrollment, registration, and communication accounts are established by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the student's information on the child's behalf.

Text message consent may be given only by a parent, legal guardian, or an adult student aged 18 or over. We do not send marketing text messages to a number registered to a child.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights and Choices

You may at any time:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you or your student
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any email we send
• Stop text messages by replying STOP to any message from us

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 11. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled families by email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
