About Us

Threesa is an accomplished singer, dancer, actress, music teacher, and choir director. She trained in vocal performance under Hedley Nosworthy at El Camino College and Marian Bodnar at Cal State Long Beach. Stage credits include Eliza (My Fair Lady), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), Lillian (Cheaper by the Dozen), The Rat King (Nutcracker). She has performed as a soloist in Handel's Messiah and was selected as a soloist in Europe through El Camino College. She worked as associate director with the South Bay Children's Choir, directed many community choirs, and produced theatre productions including The Secret Garden, Little Women, and A Christmas Carol. She also directs the Heart of Deseret Choir (formerly Sanpete Family Choir), an all-ages ensemble focused on uplifting, joyful music.

Maddie discovered Irish step dancing in her teens and trained at Power Academy of Irish Dance, progressing to the preliminary championship level and winning first place in her final competition. At BYU she performed on the Folk Dance Team and served as an Irish dance TA. She also trained in Scottish dance with Highland Peaks Dance Studio, winning the first-place aggregate trophy at competition. She graduated from BYU with a degree in English literature. She and her husband live in Ephraim with their four boys.

Kyra began dancing at a young age, earning lead roles including Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty and the title role in Cinderella. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, performing with the showcase company and then Theatre Ballet, and studying under teachers from the Balanchine Trust Foundation and the Arpino Foundation. Alongside ballet she has kept up jazz, contemporary, Irish, tap and clogging, finding that each one feeds the others. She began teaching at eighteen and hopes to pass on what dance teaches: passion, dedication and discipline, alongside inspiration and expression.

Marinda is a born performer. She has sung in choirs and appeared on stage since she was small, in roles including Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden, Jo March in Little Women, Mrs. Nephi and Narrator in I, Nephi, and Jacob “Josie” Marley in A Christmas Carol. Her true passion is dance: over the last several years she has taught herself a range of styles, including English Country and other folk forms, building on earlier instruction in swing and square dance. She has choreographed productions for the Heart of Deseret Choir and been invited to teach dance at private events. She is training hands-on as both a dancer and a teacher, and looks forward to taking on classes of her own.

Brill is SSPA’s Executive Director, overseeing the school’s operations and administration. He founded and runs Brill Hernández Media, and brings that business background to how the school is organized behind the scenes, from enrollment and scheduling systems to the way families hear from us.
